My Story

This weblog was initiated in November 2012, after a traffic accident where a speeding vehicle ran a red light and crashed into us. Our car was hit badly, but it could have been far more serious only milliseconds later.

After the accident, I kept thinking about how everything happened in the blink of an eye. I imagined wondering whether I would have another chance to see or say a last word to my children, wife, family and friends. It was a miracle that I was intact and alive.

I realized I did not want to miss the chance to tell the people I love how much they mean to me. I wanted to show appreciation for the good memories we share and make a connection in a special way before it is too late.

Today, I want to express love and appreciation for everyone who has touched my life. HeartsWire is a place to communicate today, recognize the people who make a difference, and help create a better tomorrow.
